Flumioxazin

Protoporphyrinogen Oxidase (PPO) Inhibitors. In light and oxygen, flumioxazin causes a large accumulation of protoporphyrin in sensitive crops, which enhances cell membrane lipid peroxidation, resulting in irreversible damage to the cell membrane structure and cell function of sensitive weeds.

Application

Flumioxazin is suitable for the killing and control of one-year broadleaf weeds and some grass weeds in crop fields such as soybeans, peanuts, and orchards. The flumioxazin products can also do the same on bodies of water as an aquatic herbicide. Flumioxazin works best when the active ingredient is applied to young weeds in their very early stage as a post-emergent or pre-emergently before the seeds have sprouted.

CADN:

Flumioxazin is a herbicide absorbed by young shoots and leaves. Soil treatment can effectively control 1-year broadleaf weeds and some gramineous weeds. It is easily degraded in the environment and is safe for subsequent crops.
